Maria Esguerra

Maria Esguerra is a passionate Psychologist that believes in creating an inclusive world for all. She has a special interest in dual disability and has worked in the specialised area of dual diagnosis and mental health in disability, for a decade in both the public and private sectors.

Maria has extensive additional training in Positive Behaviour Support from the Institute for Applied Behaviour Analysis, University of Melbourne and the Centre of Excellence (QLD Govt). Maria is proficient in Acceptance and Commitment therapy for Trauma, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive / DSM-V diagnostic assessment.

Maria is on the National Panel of Assessors for Disability employment services and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists. It has been her life mission to help more people in better ways this includes her role as Director at Assessable, where she provides mentoring and support to Allied health professionals.
