Vanessa Gutierrez

Vanessa is a general psychologist with over 15 years of clinical and leadership experience. She is really passionate about helping and empowering people to overcome a wide range of life's challenges, to find out what motivates them to grow, and to support them in that experience. She has worked across a range of different sectors including private practice, disability services, non-profit, immigration and in the delivery of employee assistance programs.

Her approach is compassionate, eclectic, evidenced based and tailored. Her aim is to assist clients in developing a better understanding of themselves, to develop helpful and wide ranging ways to respond to life's challenges and to empower and motivate them to grow.

Her areas of interest & expertise include: depression & mood disorders; anxiety & panic disorders; life goals & directions; relationship & career difficulties; trauma & PTSD; grief & loss and parenting issues.

She has a special interest in helping clients overcome the stresses of modern life, especially during times of transition & adjustment to new life circumstances, such as COVID 19. She is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
